The series explores movement, tension, and the traces that remain after an intense moment of acceleration or transformation. Developed through a period of research and experimentation, After the Gallop reflects on rhythm, gesture, and the relationship between the body, time, and pictorial space.

The works capture the residue of motion — what remains once the impulse has passed — translating physical energy into pictorial form.
